Lamia
Folklore creature; often associated with snakes, usually known as a snake with a human's head, human's head and chest, or human's upper torso. Generally female.
Also mentioned in folklore as a scaled goat/bear with the head and chest of a woman, or as a full human woman in appearance.
Much like sirens, these creatures tend to lure in humans and it goes badly for the people caught up in it.
