I was working on an episode of Subject To Change and this idea popped into my mind. It didn't fit in the comic, so here it is.

Downed Comparison

A man gets stomped on. Comparison from pencil to thick ink to thin ink. I am *really* starting to hate thick ink pens, but the thin ones never last very long! And you can't use a rapidograph: they scratch and they're too delicate when you need to clean them!

At first it's cool. Then he winds up on the floor.

The changes are sudden and a little violent. The boy is starting to get a little scared. Is this what becoming a dragon is like?

But, it's still pretty cool! He's got a dragon tail!

Yeah. Cool. A dragon tail that rips your shirt off...

Right after his last change, the feelings wash over him again, and burst apart his shoes (reupload)

As less and less of him feels human, he wonders exactly what will change, and now the change scares him. The feelings that were welcome before are now harbingers of the unknown.

After his legs change, he stands - and his pants fall down. He shudders at the changes his body has undergone.

The dragon change keeps coming and coming. now it spreads to his hands and he starts to question the strangeness, the alienness, the unknown.

Hard to control his new draconic limbs, he drops his pants and spreads his legs - rrip...

A quick panic attack and he looks back up to the sky. Swishing his dragon tail to work out the fear, he asks tentatively: "How far is this gonna go?"

In reply, the dragon change hits him again, this time in the spine.

Faceplant for our hero. Buttshot for us. I think we both know who the clear winner here is. Shadow Stevens.

And he's up again. Woah! Dragon legs so strange! Sorry, folks. I just loves drawing those footsies. :D

Bam! Rip! But, the shirt stays on as the wings grow. The wings are here for our budding dragon. I just wonder if he's got his sea legs yet.

There's a good look at those draconic wings. He's thinking to himself right now: holy crap!

And, yes, somehow his shirt is still on. No shoes, pants, socks, or underwear. Just that shirt. And dragon wings for flying. (oo! toes!)
