It's an image I did for a gift/laugh for Wicked Sairah since she's a darling and I adore her. Eh. It was a bit of a silly thing. Her Tasmanian Devil character, Roscoe, is trying to get all romantical (ha ha. not a word) with Mina. Mina was created for Wicked's Roscoe's crew. She's a Navigator type. There are a TON of anatomy issues. But I dig the expressions.

Never the less, I felt like uploading something for 'Talk like a Pirate' day... What better than an image or two of my pirate Thylacine character, Mad Mina ...and Pickles. The eye-patched kiwi bird.

This image of Mina has her just sitting in a night-gown of sorts. Mina may not be a big morning person, but Pickles is. Hence his doughnut. Just a doodle to show off a thylacine's GREAT BIG YAWN. Yarg maties.

Yes. I do realize that thylacine pouches face down. The explaination of it facing upright like this is she's had ..gasp... cosmetic surgery. YES! Ahoy. Afterall, Pickles needs a place to perch.

There's not a whole lot to say. Just practice faces and doodles. I did them more or less to make into icons (which you can see) for the LJ community VirtuousSin

Fairly quick coloring jobs. Flats with shadows n' highlights placed n' that's it.

I don't claim this to be perfect. Far from it. I'm not that adverse in drawing 'anime' style. So what happens are my attempts blend anime with my style, and it's ...something. Not entirely sure as to what.

I'm running a project regarding Full Metal Alchemist.

My homonuculus original character is the virtue (corrupted) Charity. She's in the rough stages and is bound to evolve. I based her loosely on my character Tigereye. As with the sins having matching eye colors, all virtues shall have matching eyecolors as well. Incase it's not seen well, the color is magenta/pink.

This was another image I had figured I'd upload since I don't know when or if I'd color it. One thing that's always fun to do is the child-versions of characters.

Well decided to draw Kanashimi (Jenna's character) and her twin Sutra (my character) when they were little. We figured since Sutra was the more aggressive of the twins, she'd probably choose to be a pirate (from that age old question what would you be when you grow up) Of course Kanashimi isn't exactly amused by the prospect of being shark bait (who is named Mr.Squeaky.)

Anyway. It was goofy image. Yay.

I had every intention of finishing this concept. I merely got frustrated and lost interest.

A while back I had a FMA anthroized series going on. This was my choice for Wrath - A Striped Hyena with a Fox leg/arm... However I lost interest and didn't like how this one came out nor its face. So it's been rotting on my computer for some time now.

Well this is actually fairly old. I didn't want to upload it initially (yet) until I colored it. However, with my lackluster want to color, not entirely sure when that'll be.

Anyway, we had a get together with CandyPalmer (of DA), her boy Fred, my boyfriend Tyler, and myself.. We played Mario Party. I drew our characters blended with the characters we played most on Mario Party.

Well I had done this some time ago. Leona had been kind enough to send me some markers.

I had did this up as a test to play with the markers with the colors I was given. Unfortunately I misplaced the original and have been unable to finish it. I might try and digitally color over it sometime.

Every once in a while I get the urge to draw something more than just a canine ... And it's a good way to challenge me. The linework is actually a few months old. I just now got around to coloring on it a little.

It isn't much, but it was fun practice. Yes. I've a thing for giving my characters pink hair. I like pink.

Pure practice. Frankly I'm not pleased with it, but I'm tired of looking at it. This is what happens when you have burn out. The linework has been sitting on my computer for sometime now -- and the flats added weeks ago.

Finally forced myself to finish it because I need the practice. Inspiration is "Red Riding Hood" (cookie points if you guessed it.)

The biggest challenge on this was shadow placement. But I can't force myself to look at this any longer. Yay for practice-pieces.

And before questions arise, no I've not yet seen Pirates of the Carribean. This character was created with someone else's character in mind. The artist, Wicked Sairah, has a tasmanian devil pirate character named Roscoe. A while back, I said I'd create a character for Roscoe's crew. I did (some odd time later).

Meet Mina, a Tasmanian wolf / tiger and Pickles the kiwi! (Who tragically lost his eye in a horrible pickle-jar accident.)

Decided to color her up as practice. I'm rusty.

Well I'm trying my hand in the Art Gallery. I've yet to be actually accepted into the Gallery, but here's hoping I'll make it through.

I did a submission for the upcoming Ixi Day that's coming up soon. There's a game on the site called "Potato Counter", in which you count potatoes for NP. Carrots don't count, though.

Fondly named these guys Sam, Joe, and Fred. Here's hopin' I get in this time. :D

While at first she was going to be a Neopet uni, I've decided to not go that route and instead simply keep her a demon-horse thing.

A lot of the inspiration into her was both Halloween motif (as common with demon-steed themes),as well as a Carousel horse.

While I like the linework, and dig the coloring on the feet, this was a trying image. Still not completely pleased with it, but it'll do.

The image took me a few days (then again I procrastinated). It's of a maned wolf priestess character atop of a Quetzalcoatl Guardian. The Quetzalcoatl's head was referenced off of an Aztec temple of the serpent I had found online. The little bird on the character's is called a Queztal. -- I tried to impliment a lot of Aztec designs (hence the face/skull beads and turquoise)

I did it only for the hair and smile. I like expressions and hair.

A while ago, I did a sketch of my character Sutra entited "Iron Fans". It was just linework, and I gave permission to a few people to color it. One such person was MockingByrd of DA. They noted me and I loved how they read my linework and filled in the colors. Awesome job hon, thank you!

I went back on their initial coloring job and added a few color-tweaks to pump out the shadows/figure... But 99% of the coloring is theirs. :) You can see their version in their DA page.

What do you do when you're stuck in Games Workshop for 8 or so hours?
Why my friend, you -draw- ...

Tyler (boyfriend) works at GW. Was lucky enough for Candy and Fred to drop. Well Candy Palmer and myself decided to sit down in the 'Battle Bunker' in a corner, drawing beneath one of the demo-tables...

Randomly we did up our characters as "Sisters of Battle" from Warhammer. (Check out Candy's Sister.) Keep in mind these were bored-induced scribbles.. (Armor is NOT a strong point for me)
