Anna’s Song
In
beauty she does stand out from the crowd
Although
to hear her say , it is not so
And
she is quiet , when the world is loud
Which
draws my ear to hear her words so low
And
when I pause , to watch her standing there
I’m
fully captivated by her smile
The
moonbeams seem to glimmer in her hair
She
beckons me to stay and talk awhile
Her
gentle touch does tell me of her day
I
cannot help but feel my troubles lift
And
as she sings , upon her lap I lay
My
head , to listen to her wondrous gift
Oh
my Anna , Cannot you see
What
your love has done to me.
