Score one for origonality, if there is another of these allready I give up.

The abused surfaces of these tables were likely as old as the institution itself. At each tables end rested control equipment and components for every possible medical event. Warmly displaying color readouts and diagrams of gryphon anatomy the devices could monitor an organism down to a single nerve fire. The readouts usually showed life, but every single table had a mandatory idiot button. Pressing it would instantly and thoroughly kill anything touching the tabletop. The paper swan she found in the hall rested on the screen. Seeing it calmed her. she needed it, today they got their specimens. ~JL

Typically the over exposure of the light tanks caused grossly overly developed eyes and skin pigmentation, usually resulting in the demonstration embryo being destroyed after birthing or classified as "Unfit For (human) Interaction". The UFI's were rarely seen by the public and went almost exclusively to be used in laboratory experiments, the most common of which was vivisection.
